The Sirui W-1204 Waterproof Carbon Fibre Tripod with K-20x Ball Head is protected from water, dirt and dust. In addition, it has a newly designed locking mechanism for comfortable operation and a spirit level for accurate alignment. The tripod tubes are manufactured from 10-layer carbon fibre (reduced weight, increased stability, vibration-free). Another special feature of this tripod is that one leg can be removed and used as a monopod. The centre column is made of two sections of different lengths. The short section can be used with the tripod for ground-level shots. The long section can be used to increase the height of the monopod to 162cm. The legs have three ratchet positions and can be folded up by 180° so that the tripod measures just 49cm when collapsed. Each leg is made of 4 sections with 3 sealed twist locks. Rubber feet and metal spikes ensure that the tripod is stable on any surface.

A stabilising hook on the centre column is a SIRUI standard, as are cold weather grips and a transport bag. The bag strap can also be used as a tripod strap.

Sirui W Series Tripod Warranty and Cleaning Information

Sirui W Series waterproof tripods are designed to be used in sand and water without negative effect, when properly handled and cleaned. For this series only, the warning of voiding the warranty does not apply to use in water or sand. However, proper maintenance is required after use in extreme environments to prevent corrosion or other damage caused from neglect.

The legs should be set to the desired length and locked before placing in the water. This will prevent water from entering the leg tubes.
After use in saltwater, muddy or dirty water, the legs must be rinsed in clean water (and mild soap if needed) to remove all residue, and dried before closing the legs. If this is not done, the salt or dirt will dry and cause the leg sections to stick or jam. To remedy this problem, you will need to disassemble the tripod, thoroughly clean the outside and inside of the tubes and leg locks and then reassemble the tripod. Not a complicated procedure, just a time consuming one.

Sand should be removed before closing the legs, to avoid getting sand into the threads of the leg locks. If they do get in, remove the leg locks and rinse until there is no sand remaining in the threads. Use a tooth brush to remove any sand that is not washed away. A slight amount of light lubricant can be used on the threads if no lubricant is remaining after the cleaning.
SIRUI Australia ships with Startrack which is owned by Australia Post.

All orders require a signature on delivery as proof or delivery.

Orders addressed to P.O box and G.P.O box, will be shipped by Startrack but may be delivered Australia Post and extra time should be allocated for these orders.

Shipping time refers to the estimated time that it will take to deliver your order after its ready to ship (Please note this does not include time to process your order). Shipping time does not commence after your order is put through but begins the moment your order has been processed and is ready to dispatch via the freight carrier of choice.

All shipping includes FREE insurance from door to door.  Please contact us as soon as you receive your order if it has been damaged in transit.
