In August 2019 I landed the dream job opportunity. To join Aurora Expeditions on one of the last ever voyages aboard the Polar Pioneer as she sailed through Svalbard onward to Eastern Greenland and finally into Iceland.

Never before have I witnessed such incredible raw natural beauty, yet it terrified me to see how quickly the ice is melting up there and the huge impact that it's having on all living creatures.

Over the 14-days I was aboard the ship, I made some amazing friends and was blown away at just how hard each team member worked. The knowledge and expertise of the crew were nothing short of award-winning.
