All orders require a signature on delivery as proof or delivery.
Orders addressed to P.O box, G.P.O box or Parcel Collect will be shipped by Startrack but may be delivered by Australia Post. Extra time should be allocated for these orders.

Expected delivery dates/times are based on courier shipping practices, your destination and the items in your order.
Expected delivery dates are estimates. Orders can be delayed due to fraud verification or time of the order being placed.
Items that are not regularly stocked cannot be held to the expected delivery dates.

Same day order shipping cut off time is 2pm business days. Excludes weekends and public holidays.

Shipping Transit Times (Including Free Shipping)
Shipping time refers to the estimated time that it will take to deliver an in stock order after it has been processed, picked, packed and collected by our courier. Shipping time does not commence after your order placed. We endeavour to have any in-stock items shipped on the same business day if an order has been received before 2pm on that day. The shipping transit time will then be subject to standard courier shipping practices, your destination and the items in your order.
Metro City & Metro Areas
All orders are generally processed on the same day the order was placed on business days between 9am-2pm. In stock orders are generally processed and shipped same day or next business day. Shipping time is dependant on your location, vicinity to a major mail centre and size of the parcel.
Packages weighing under 5kg – usually received 2-4 business days after shipping.
Packages above 5kg – please allow an extra 1-2 business days for delivery.
If no one is available at your delivery address to accept your order a second delivery may be scheduled or you will be notified that your order can be collected from your nearest Australia Post or Australia Post mail centre.
Rural Areas
All orders are generally processed on the same day the order was placed on business days between 9am-2pm. Generally, orders are processed and shipped same day or next Business day. To rural areas we use Startrack / Australia post for the majority of parcels we send. Packages below 5kg are usually received 3-5 business days after shipping.
Packages above 5kg please allow an extra 1-2 business days for delivery.
If no one is available at your delivery address to accept your order a second delivery may be scheduled or you will be notified that your order can be collected from your nearest Australia Post or Australia Post mail centre.
Express Courier Option – $15.95
We offer an Express Priority Courier option to ensure the fastest packing and delivery time. Our Express Courier Option ensures priority same day shipping and handling for all in stock orders placed before 2pm (business days). We use Startrack / Australia post to reach the majority of the country through their delivery network. All shipping includes FREE insurance from door to door.
Will a signature be required for delivery?
All of our orders are shipped with “Signature Required”. This means a signature and name/identification will be required to be supplied by the person receiving the parcel and the delivery will not be left unattended.
We are able to provide an “Authority To Leave” only on orders below a total value of $100 at our discretion and are subject to identification verification.
Can my order be shipped to a PO Box?
We offer delivery to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers as an option. The Post Office Box (PO Box) network and Parcel Locker network is owned and managed by Australia Post and can receive deliveries sent via StarTrack.
If your cart contains items that are too large for a PO Box or Parcel Locker delivery, the delivery will be held by the nearest post office or mail centre for collection.
Please allow an extra day for delivery to PO Boxes / Parcel Lockers due to the handling time of the post office itself.
Is my delivery insured?
All of our shipments are covered by insurance in the case of damage or loss of items during the shipping process. It is very important for insurance purposes that the shipping address details you provide are accurate and correct. Orders shipped to an incorrect address are not covered by loss. In the case of any damage sustained to any items during the shipping process please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your shipment.
Can I provide special delivery instructions?
Unfortunately due to the volume of orders shipped daily by our delivery service StarTrack / Australia post we are unable to provide any special delivery instructions to the drivers. Delivery drivers are unable to call before delivery. In the case of an “Authority To Leave” being provided the driver will leave a parcel in a safe location of their choosing. Otherwise if a delivery attempt is made unsuccessfully the parcel will be taken to the nearest Australia Post office or mail centre for collection.
What is the cut-off time for same day shipping?
While we endeavour to process and ship orders as late as possible, due to high volume of online orders received our guaranteed same business day shipping cut-off time for in stock orders is 2pm. Orders placed after 2pm may ship on the next business day.
Required Address & Delivery Information
To ensure the most efficient delivery of your order as possible it is very important that we receive the correct address information. Please ensure you are completing as many of the relevant fields as possible during the checkout process. If your delivery address is a unit / apartment / office / floor number please ensure you provide this information accurately. Please match your postcode to your exact suburb.
What happens if any items from your order are placed on backorder?
We endeavour to ship all items at the same time. In cases were this isn’t possible and your order contains both in-stock and back-ordered items, all back-ordered items will ship as soon as they arrive to our warehouse. In the case of partially shipped orders we will make all possible attempts to contact and notify you. There will be no extra shipping charges applied to any subsequent shipments as a result of us splitting your order.
Does Explorer Photo & Video (Australia) have a store for pickup?
Yes. During the ordering process please make a note that you would like to collect your order and we can make arrangements for collection from the warehouse in Crows Nest, Sydney. All pickups from our warehouse will be subject to current state and federal government COVID-19 regulations and guidelines.
Order Verification / ID Verification
Due to large amounts of online credit card fraud within the Camera / Photography / Electronics industries, all orders are subject to approval and identification/credit card information verification. We will notify you by phone or email with further information should your order be subject to ID verification.
Shipment / Tracking Information
When your order ships from our warehouse you will receive an email from us to your registered email address with a tracking number and link to track your order.
If you receive your tracking number before 6pm (Sydney time) it may not be updated on the courier’s website until that evening. Once an order is collected and scanned by the courier company the tracking information should be live and trackable.
